It must be real unnerving to see a Yafu WU running on an 16-core Opteron or a 12-core Xeon: It is using all available threads!
Rumor has it that Intel is even readying a 15 core Xeon (that's 30 threads, dammit)....
I want a new Opteron with 32 cores!
And a quad board to fit them in...
And money to buy it.....

There are no hydroelectric power stations in my neighbourhood, but I could cover the entire roof with solar cells...
It seems from what I read on the YAFU forum that the WUs max out at 64 cores.
So for those who have Quad Opteron boards with 16-core Opterons in them: eat your hart out, YAFU is taking full possession of your system!
Those with Quad board hosting 12-core Xeons -who are these people?- will see only 64 threads running YAFU, giving 32 threads the chance to do something else...
