    Ubuntu to come preloaded on Dell

    So Dell have finally made their mind up as to which *nix to load on the Linux machines

    I've played with most distro's Live CD/DVD's and I like Ububtu. I also have a thing for Gentoo & Suse, but Ubuntu is the easiest to work with.

    Good choice. It's my distro of choice as well. That or Debian. Anything else seems to hate me. (or my hardware :p)

    I use CE and EDU *ubuntu's on my kids computers, so I can handle it. And Ububtu been #1 at DistroWatch for a long time. I'm just happy to see Dell trying to do something right.
    If pro is opposite of con, then what is the opposite of progress?

    Well I do think that Ubuntu was kinda biased option...

    Micheal Dell uses it himself!

    Back in the day if a computer vendor tried that (a non-M$ OS/software bundle) Micro$oft would shut them down. More than one PC company was no longer able to purchase M$'s OS after they tried to offer competing software bundles. Hence, they went out of business.
